 14. Retractable End Locks (Fig. 1)
_____________________
 A.  Retractable end locks as shown in Fig. 1 are intermittently spaced in the three rows of lock/stop roller-caster trays located throughout the entire length of cargo compartment on each side of the airplane centerline. The end locks provide longitudinal and vertical restraint for the cargo units and are retractable to permit loading and unloading of cargo. Each end lock contains rollers, a retractable lockhead restraint, tray locking retaining pins and lock head restraint release levers, and a cargo tiedown ring.
 15. Retractable End Stops (Fig. 1)
_____________________
 A.  Retractable end stops as shown in Fig. 1 are intermittently spaced in the three rows of lock/stop roller-caster trays located throughout the entire length of cargo compartment on each side of the airplane centerline. The end stops provide longitudinal and vertical restraint for the cargo units and are retractable to permit loading and unloading of cargo. Each end stop contains a roller, a retractable stophead restraint, tray locking retaining pins and stophead restraint release levers, and a cargo tiedown ring.
 16. Fixed End Stops (Fig. 1)
_______________
 A.  Fixed end stops as shown in Fig. 1 are installed in the outboard lock/stop roller-caster trays at the aft end of the cargo compartment on each side of the airplane centerline. The end stops provide longitudinal and vertical restraint for the aft-most left and right side cargo units located in the cargo compartment. Each end stop contains a roller, a fixed stophead restraint, a tray locking retaining pins release handle, and a cargo tiedown ring.
 17. Transition Guide Rail and Stowage Support (Fig. 1)
_________________________________________
 A.  A transition guide rail is installed on the forward right side of the P29th pallet position in the aft end of the cargo compartment. The guide rail provides guidance for loading and unloading cargo into and out of the P29th pallet position. The transition guide rail attaches to the aft right outboard guide/restraint rails with a quick-release pin at forward end of the transition guide rail and a hinge fitting at the aft end. The guide rail stows across the forward end of the cargo unit after loading into position and is secured in the stowed position with a stowage support fitting located inboard near the airplane centerline. Rollers are installed on the inboard face of the rail to assist in cargo loading and unloading operations.

__________________
 A.  Two lock trays are installed at the forward end of the P29th pallet position with three retractable lockhead restraints to provide longitudinal and vertical restraint for a single 88x108, 96x117.75, 88 or 96x125-inch wide cargo unit. The lockhead restraints are manually retracted during loading and unloading operations and the respective lockhead restraints are manually extended to provide longitudinal and vertical restraint for the appropriate size cargo unit. Cargo tiedown rings are provided in each lock tray for handling of special cargo.
 19. Aft Stop Trays (Fig. 1)
