LOCK/STOP ROLLER AND CASTER TRAYS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task gives instructions to remove the lock/stop roller and caster trays. The second task gives instructions to install the lock/stop roller and caster trays. This procedure also gives instructions to remove and install these components from the trays: the end locks, the end stops, the rollers, and the casters.
B. There are three parallel rows of the trays on the left and right sides of the cargo compartment.

2. Lock/Stop Roller and Caster Trays Removal (Fig. 401)

(1) Location Zones

B. Remove the Tray

(1) Lift the shear-plunger levers to retract the shear-plunger studs from the floor fittings.
NOTE: The shear-plunger levers must stay locked in the up position.

(2) Move the tray in the inboard direction.
NOTE: The tension studs on the bottom of the tray must align with

the holes in the floor fittings.

(3) Remove the tray.

C. Remove the End Lock or End Stop

(1)
Lift the release-lever(s) to retract the pins from the holes in the side of the tray.

Remove the end lock or end stop.
D. Remove the Roller

(1)
Push the head of the quick-release pin while you pull the quick-release pin away from the tray.

Remove the roller.
E. Remove the Caster

(1) Lift the shear-plunger levers to retract the shear-plunger studs from the holes in the side of the tray.
NOTE: The shear-plunger levers must stay locked in the up position.
