(3) S 434-103Connect the end fitting of the manual disengage cable to the drive-wheel actuator.
(4) S 434-104Connect the electrical connector plug for the drive-wheel actuator to the electrical receptacle on the support structure (WDM 25-57-23, WDM 25-57-24, and WDM 25-57-25).
(5) S 434-105Lift the trigger mechanism below each handle on the PDU to retract the lockpins.
NOTE:____ The lockpins will retract when the red indicator flag on the trigger mechanism extends above the handles.
(6) S 424-106Lower the PDU into the support fitting.
NOTE:____ The arrow on the PDU must point longitudinally at the 0-degree mark shown on the index block.
(7) S 434-107Release the trigger mechanisms to lock the PDU to the support fitting.
NOTE:____ The PDU will lock when the red indicator flag on the trigger mechanisms retract into the handles.
(8) S 434-108Move the PDU handles to the horizontal (folded) position.

Install the lock/stop roller and caster tray which you removed to get access to the PDU (AMM 25-58-01/401).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a)
P415 Power Distribution Center Right Panel
1) 415F15 CARGO HANDLING CONT MAIN DECK
(b)
P34 Main Deck Cargo Handling Power Panel
1) PDU 1 & 2 STEERING 2
2) MAIN DECK CARGO HANDLING CONTROL

(11) Make sure you can manually disengage the drive-wheel from the drive-wheel actuator:
NOTE: A disengage control lever is outboard of the PDU on the

lower sidewall.
(a)
Lift the lever to the fully up position.
(b)
Make sure the drive-wheel can turn freely in the forward and aft direction.
(c)
Lower the lever to the fully down position.
(d)
Make sure the drive-wheel can not turn in the forward and aft direction.

(12) Make sure you can electrically operate the PDU from the local cargo control panel:
NOTE: The PDUs can be operated from more than one local cargo
____ control panel. This test gives instructions to operate the PDU from one of the local cargo control panels. The local cargo control panel is outboard of the PDU on the sidewall. Refer to 25-57-00/501 for the full operational test of the PDUs from the other local cargo control panels if it is necessary.
(a) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(b)
Push the SYSTEM POWER ON switch momentarily on the master cargo control panel (M1).
(c)
Hold the LOCAL DRIVE switch to the FWD position on the local cargo control panel.
(d)
Make sure the drive-wheel turns in the forward direction.
(e)
Hold the LOCAL DRIVE switch to the AFT position.
(f)
Make sure the drive-wheel turns in the aft direction.
(g)
Release the LOCAL DRIVE switch to the OFF position.
(h)
Push the SYSTEM POWER STOP switch momentarily on the master cargo control panel.
(i)
Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
