Insert a slotted screwdriver in each recess of the ball unit.
(b)
Lift the ball unit from the ball transfer panel.

(1) Do these steps to install the ball unit:
(a)
Align the ball unit with the hole in the ball-transfer panel.
(b)
Push the ball unit down into the ball-transfer panel until the two tabs engage fully.
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

ADEC BOX - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
The first task is the removal of the ADEC Box from the forward and aft cargo compartments.
(2)
The second task in the installation of the ADEC Box in the forward and aft cargo compartments
B. There are two ADEC Boxes, one is located in the forward cargo compartment and one in the aft cargo compartment. Each ADEC Box is mounted underneath the right-hand roller tray forward of the doorway area.
C. Each ADEC Box serves as an electrical/electronic interface unit between the Telair PDU system and the Boeing cargo control panel.

_______ COMPARTMENT DOOR. INSTALL A SAFETY BARRIER (3PRE65B00040) ACROSS THE OPENING OF THE DOOR UNLESS AN ACCESS STAND IS AT THE DOOR. INJURY TO PERSONS CAN OCCUR IF THEY FALL THROUGH THE OPENING OF THE DOOR.
(3) Install a safety barrier (3PRE65B00040) across the opening of the cargo compartment door if it is necessary.
