(d) Push the PMC ON/INOP switch on the P5-68 engine module on the
aft overhead panel in the flight compartment to turn the PMC
OFF.
(e) Make sure the multimeter indication is in the limits for
position 9 of the PMC SRT switch 4 (PMC SW) (table 16).

If the PMC switch and cable resistances are not in the limits shown (tables 15, 16, and 17), do a test of the PMC warning light.
(j)
After the test of the PMC warning light, do PMC Switch Resistance Test again to be sure the faiure has been corrected.

(8) Engine Harness Reconnection Procedure
(a)
Disconnect the Main Engine Test cable from the PMC SRT and from P2, P3, and P4 on the engine wiring harness.
(b)
Reconnect the engine harness P2 connector to the PMC J2 connector.
(c)
Reconnect the engine harness P3 connector to the PMC J3 connector.
(d)
Reconnect the engine harness P4 connector to the PMC J4 connector.
(e)
Disconnect the GND Lead Cable from the PMC Case and the PMC SRT.

(9) Final Reassembly
(a)
Close the fan cowl panels (AMM 71-11-02/201).
(b)
Turn the switch on the Fluke multimeter to the OFF position.

(10) CFM56 PMC System Resistance Tester Calibration
(a)
Calibration of the PMC Tester is accomplished by calibrating the Fluke 77 multimeter for each procedure in Fluke Series II Multimeter Service Manual-Part Number 896204. If Calibration fails, return the Fluke multimeter directly to Fluke for repair/calibration. Service manual is supplied as a part of PMC Tester.
