Disconnect the clamps [1] thru [4] from the oil-in line and the return line.
(g)
Disconnect the sensing line to the pressure switch for the oil filter bypass, and loosen the 4 bolts on the scavenge filter of the main oil system.
(h)
Disconnect the oil return line from the OIL OUT port of the housing for the servo fuel heater. 1) Remove and keep the gasket.
(i)
To remove the servo fuel heater, move the oil-in line and the oil return lines rearwards.
(j)
Disconnect the fuel discharge line from the FUEL OUT port on the cover for the servo fuel heater. 1) Loosen the discharge line at the connection on the inlet
port of the MEC servo.
(k)
To remove the servo fuel heater, turn the discharge line.

(6) Remove the servo fuel heater from the oil/fuel heat exchanger.
(a) Remove and keep the gasket.

(7) S 614-020-C00Add engine oil to the open oil and fuel ports of the servo fuel heater.
(8) S 864-013-C00Install the protective caps and plugs to the open ports of the servo fuel heater. (a) Shake and turn the heater for approximately one minute.
(9) S 864-014-C00Install protective caps and plugs on the open lines on the engine.
