(j)  If one or more test points are not in the limits shown in tables 12 and 13, then continue with the instructions below to
 (k)  set the temperature probe power switch.If all test points are in the limits shown in tables 12 and 13, this test is complete. 1) Set PMC SRT switches 1, 2, 3, and 4 to position 0. 2) Set the temperature probe power switch to the OFF position. 3) Use the meter probe jumpers to reconnect the multimeter to the PMC SRT.
 (l) (m)  4) Continue the test, go to PMC Switch Resistance Test.Set the temperature probe power switch to the OFF position.Use the meter probe jumpers to reconnect the multimeter to the PMC SRT.
 (n)  Remove the engine wiring harness from the T12 inlet temperature
 sensor connector.
 (o)  Connect the T12 test cable connector labeled PMC SRT T12 to the PMC SRT T12 connector.
 (p) (q)  Connect the connector labeled CFM56 T12 CONNECTOR to the T12 inlet temperature sensor connector.Continue the T12 inlet temperature sensor test. Refer to table 14 below.

(r)  
Do steps above to remove meter probe jumpers through measuring the ambient temperature again to measure the ambient air temperature.

 (s)  
The measured resistances must be in the limits for the T12
 sensor (table 14) for ambient air temperature (table 13).


 (t)  
If the T12 sensor resistances are in the limits shown in table 14, replace the wiring harness for the control parameter (AMM 73-21-06/401).

 (u)  
If the T12 sensor resistances are not in the limits shown in
 table 14, replace the T12 inlet temperature sensor
 (AMM 73-21-05/401).


 (v)  
Set PMC SRT switches 1, 2, 3, and 4 to position 0.

 (w)  
Set the temperature probe power switch to the OFF position.

 (x)  
Use the meter probe jumpers to reconnect the multimeter to the PMC SRT.

 (y)  
Remove the T12 test cable from the T12 inlet temperature sensor connector and from the PMC SRT T12 connector.

 (z)  
Reconnect the engine wiring harness to the T12 inlet
 temperature sensor connector.

 

 (aa) Do T12 Inlet Temperature Sensor Resistance Test again to make sure the failure is corrected.

 (7)  PMC Switch Resistance Test
 (a)  
Set PMC SRT switches 1, 2, 3, and 4 to position 0.

 (b)  
Make sure the Main Engine Test Cable is fully connected.

 (c)  
Make sure the multimeter indication is in limits for each
 position of the PMC SRT switch 4 (PMC SW) (table 15).
