(e) Tighten the 2 screws to 8-10 pound-inches
(0.9-1.1 Newton meters).
1) Install a lockwire.

(10) Do these steps to put the fuel control box back to its usual condition:
(a)
Move the forward thrust lever back to the idle position.
(b)
Install the aft cover on the fuel control box with the bolts and the washers.

Turn off the PMC power supply.

Disconnect the PMC Power Supply Unit from the PMC connectors J2 and J5 (Fig. 502).

On the PMC, install the electrical plug on the electrical connector J2 and the protective cap on the electrical connector J5 (Fig. 501).

Close the left and right fan cowl panels (AMM 71-11-02/201).

NOTE: You must do this test when you replace the PMC, the MEC or the PMC
____ wiring harnesses and you have not done the gain adjustment with the PMC tester.

Remove the electrical plugs from the J2 connector on the PMC's for the two engines (Fig. 501).

On the engine that is operated to supply electrical power, connect the male electrical connector of the power cable to the electrical connector which was removed from the J2 connector of the PMC.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU ATTACH THE POWER CABLE WITH TAPE TO THE ENGINE
_______ COWL, STRUT, WING AND FUSELAGE BETWEEN THE TWO ENGINES. THE POWER CABLE SHOULD BE ATTACHED AFT AND FAR FROM THE ENGINE INLET. INCORRECT ROUTING CAN CAUSE INGESTION OF THE CABLE OR THE TAPE INTO THE ENGINE WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUN.
(4) On the engine that is operated to supply the electrical power, do these steps:
(a) Use tape, at locations that are 4-6 inches (100-150 mm) apart, to attach the cable to the surface as follows: 1) Attach the cable on the engine cowl and up to the engine
strut.
2) Attach the cable along the engine strut to the wing.
3) Attach the cable under the wing and fuselage to the
opposite side of airplane. 4) Continue to attach the cable with tape on the same route to the opposite engine.

Connect the female connector of the power cable to the J2 connector on the PMC of the engine you will do the test on.

On the engine that you will do the PMC test, do these steps to put the forward thrust lever in the fully forward position:
(a)
Remove the bolts and washers that attach the aft cover to the fuel control box on the MEC.
(b)
Move the left (right) forward thrust lever until the MEC power lever touches the maximum forward thrust stop. 1) The maximum forward thrust stop can be determined from
TABLE 1 - PLA VOLTAGE CHECK VALUES.
NOTE: TABLE 1 is given as information because of the
____ engine intermix configurations and spare engine interchanges between operators.
2) The maximum forward thrust stop is a function of the airplane model and engine type.
(c) Keep the forward thrust lever in this position.

Remove the protective cap from the PMC connector J5.

Connect the digital voltmeter to the pins 10 (signal) and 23 (common).
