(a) For the applicable engine, remove the electrical power from the fuel flow transmitter.

Open the left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

Disconnect electrical connector D830 from the transmitter.

Install caps on the open connectors.

Disconnect the bracket on the forward end of the transmitter from the bracket on the engine flange H.

Disconnect the fuel supply line from the transmitter inlet.
NOTE: Be prepared to catch the remaining fuel in the manifold.

Remove the bolts that attach the fuel manifold for the transmitter inlet.

Remove the fuel manifold.
(a) Discard the o-ring.

Remove the bolts that attach the fuel manifold to the transmitter outlet.

Remove the bolts that attach the transmitter to the bracket.
(a)
Move the transmitter up and forward and away from the engine
push-pull cables.
(b)
Remove the transmitter.
NOTE: Discard the O-ring on the outlet manifold.

(12) Install caps on the open manifold ends.

CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE THE ENDPLATE INSTALLATION IS LEAK TIGHT. FLUID SUPPLIES INTERNAL DAMPING TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE TRANSMITTER.
(13) Install one shipping endplate (leak tight) on the outlet end of the transmitter.

(14) Fill the inlet end of the transmitter to approximately 3/4-inch below the inlet flange (this permits thermal expansion) with kerosene or petroleum solvent.
