Remove the filter fittings from the P6 port and the PB port of the CIT sensor.
(a) Remove and discard the packings from the filter fittings.

WARNING:_______DO THIS TASK IN A CLEAN AREA. MAKE SURE THE AREA HAS GOOD AIRFLOW. DO NOT TO BREATH THE FUMES. DO NOT LET OPEN FLAMES OR SPARKS NEAR THE AREA. DO NOT LET THE FLUID STAY ON YOUR SKIN. YOU CAN ABSORB POISONOUS MATERIALS FROM THE FLUID THROUGH YOUR SKIN.
(6) Make sure the fitting filters are clean.
(a) Clean the fitting filters with a stiff-bristled brush and
solvent if it is necessary.

(7) Install the filter fittings.
(a)
Lubricate the new packings with petrolatum and install it on
the filter fittings.
(b)
Install the filter fittings on the P6 prt and the PB port of
the CIT sensor.
(c)
Tighten the filter fittings to 70-80 pound-inches
(7.9 - 9.0 Newton meters).

(8) Connect the signal (P6) line and the return (PB) line to the filter fittings of the CIT sensor (AMM 73-21-02/401).

(9) Close the right thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

A. This procedure gives the steps for the removal and installation of the
Idle reset solenoid (referred to as the idle solenoid).
B. You can find the Idle reset solenoid on the lower inboard side of the
main engine control (MEC).
