If the resistances measured are in the limits shown in table 7, replace the wiring harness for the control alternator (AMM 73-21-06/401).

If the resistances are not in the limits shown in table 7,
replace the MEC (AMM 73-21-01/401).

Set PMC SRT switches 1, 2, 3, and 4 to position 0.
(m)
Remove the MEC test cable from the MEC connector and from the PMC SRT MEC connector.
(n)
Reconnect the engine wiring harness to the MEC connector.
(o)
Make sure the failure is corrected. Do Torque Motor (TM) -Winding Resistance Test again.

(4) N2 Control Alternator - Winding Resistance Test
(a)
Set PMC SRT switches 1, 2, 3, and 4 to position 0.
(b)
Make sure the Main Engine Test Cable is fully connected.
(c)
For each position of the PMC SRT switch 3 (N2 ALT) in table 8 below, make sure the Fluke multimeter indication is in the test limits shown.

(d) If one or more test points are not in the limits shown in table
8, then continue with the instructions in test paragraph below
to remove the two engine wiring harness connectors from N2
Control Alternator.
(e) If all test points pass in the limits shown in table 8, this
test is complete.
1) Set PMC SRT switches 1, 2, 3, and 4 to position 0.
2) Continue the test. Do N1 Fan Speed Sensor Resistance Test.
(f) Remove the two (2) engine wiring harness connectors from the N2
Control Alternator connectors J1 and J2.
(g) Connect the N2 control alternator test cable connector labeled
PMC SRT N2 to the PMC SRT N2 connector. Connect the connectors
labeled N2 ALT J1 and N2 ALT J2 to the N2 Control Alternator
connectors J1 and J2.
