Connect the Main Engine Test Cable connector labeled PMC SRT to the PMC SRT PMC connector.
(i)
Locate the GND Lead Cable part number 1736M48P15.
(j)
Connect the end labeled GND Lug to the Ground Lug on the upper left-hand corner of the PMC SRT. To do this, push the ground lug and engage the split connector end.
(k)
Connect the end labeled GND Clip to the PMC case on the airframe near the PMC bonding strip; make sure there is a good connection for a ground.
(l)
Make sure the Fluke 77 multimeter is in calibration. Turn the Fluke 77 multimeter switch to the OHMS position. Be sure the multimeter is in Auto-Range mode.

(2) PLA Transducer Resistance Test
(a)
Make sure the multimeter indication is in the limits for each position of the PMC SRT switch 1 (PLA) (table 4).

If one or more test points is not in the limits (table 4), continue with the instructions below to remove the engine wiring harness (blue cable) from the MEC connector.
(c)
If all test points pass in the limits shown in table 4, this test is complete. 1) Set PMC SRT switches 1, 2, 3, and 4 to position 0. 2) To continue, go to TM Winding Resistance Test.
(d)
Remove the engine wiring harness (blue cable) from the MEC connector.
NOTE: The MEC connector is the PLA position connector on the

aft lower side of the MEC.
(e)
Connect the MEC test cable connector labeled PMC SRT MEC to the PMC SRT MEC connector.
(f)
Connect the MEC test cable connector labeled CFM56 MEC to the MEC connector.
