 CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE THE BRACKET FROM THE PRESSURIZING VALVE.

 THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE VALVE.

 (l)  
Disconnect the clamps 3 and 4 from the bracket attached to the pressurizing valve. 1) Do not remove the clamps from the lines.

 (m)  
Disconnect the oil return (OIL-OUT) line from the port on the inboard side of the servo fuel heater.

 (n)  
Disconnect the oil return (OIL-OUT) line, installed below the MEC, from the oil tank return hose. 1) Disconnect the clamps from the brackets in the step above.


 a) Keep the clamps on the oil return line. b) Remove the line from the engine.

 (12) Remove the plumbing lines from the aft side of the MEC as follows (Fig. 405):
 NOTE: The removal of the MEC will be easier if you disconnect and
____ remove the flexible hoses at the two ends. These flexible hoses will be identified in the steps that follow.
 CAUTION: USE TWO WRENCHES TO REMOVE THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS; ONE TO
_______ HOLD THE FITTING, AND ONE TO LOOSEN THE COUPLING NUT. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE HARDWARE.
 (a)  
Disconnect the VSV HEAD end line at the MEC and the top end of the flexible hose.

 (b)  
Disconnect the VSV ROD end line at the MEC and the top end of the flexible hose.

(c)  
Remove the flexible hoses from the VSV ROD and VSV HEAD end.

 (d)  
ENGINES WITH THE HPTCC TIMER;
 Disconnect the PC line from the MEC.


 (e)  
Disconnect the sensor supply (P6) to the compressor inlet
 temperature (CIT) line from the MEC.


 (f)  
Disconnect the return (PB) line of the CIT sensor from the MEC.

 (g)  
Disconnect the clamps that attach the P6 and PB lines to the
 bracket on the MEC.


 (h)  
Disconnect the VBV OPEN line from the MEC.

 (i)  
Remove the flexible hose.

 (j)  
Disconnect the VBV CLOSE line from the MEC.

 (k)  
Remove the flexible hose.

 (l)  
Disconnect the PCR line from the fitting forward of the upper overboard drain.
