CAUTION:_______ THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES OF ATTACHMENTS FOR THE FUEL
FILTER COVER. BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE TASK, VISUALLY CHECK THE
FUEL FILTER COVER TO DETERMINE THE TYPE OF ATTACHMENT
CONFIGURATION. DO THE PROCEDURE FOR THAT CONFIGURATION.
(1)
Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Make sure the applicable engine start lever is in the CUTOFF position.

Make sure the FUEL VALVE CLOSED (engine fuel shutoff valve) indicator light on fuel control panel on the P5 panel is illuminated dim.

Attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag on the applicable engine start lever.

Remove the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(a) Set the BAT switch on the Electrical Meters Battery and Galley Power Module (P5-13) to the OFF position and install a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

Open the left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

Put a suitable container, 1 US gallon (4 liters) in capacity, under the engine to collect any residual fuel that may drain out.
