ENGINES WITH THE HPTCC TIMER; Connect the flexible hose from the PC line to the fitting on the MEC. 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches

 CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT MIX THE INSTALLATION OF THE P6 LINE
_______ WITH THE PCR LINE (FIG. 405 AND 407). THIS WILL CAUSE IN THE INCORRECT OPERATION OF THE MEC.
 (d)  
Connect the P6 line to the fitting on the MEC.
 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 270-300 pound-inches
 (30-34 Newton meters).


 2)  Tighten the in-line coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches (15-17 Newton meters).

 (e)  
Connect the PB line to the fitting on the MEC.
 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 270-300 pound-inches
 (30-34 Newton meters).


 2)  Tighten the in-line coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches (15-17 Newton meters).

 (f)  
Connect the PCR line to the fitting on the MEC.


 1)  Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches (15-17 Newton meters).

(g)  
Connect the end of the flexible hose with the elbow to the VBV CLOSE fitting on the MEC. 1) Tighten the coupling nuts to 270-300 pound-inches

 (30-34 Newton meters).

 (h)  
Connect the other end of the flexible hose to the VBV CLOSE line. 1) Tighten the coupling nuts to 270-300 pound-inches

 (30-34 Newton meters).

 (i)  
Connect the end of the flexible hose with the elbow to the VBV OPEN fitting on the MEC. 1) Tighten the elbow to 450-500 pound-inches

 (51-56 Newton meters).

 (j)  
Connect the other end of the flexible hose to the VBV OPEN line. 1) Tighten the hose end to 270-300 pound-inches

 (30-34 Newton meters).

 (k)  
Connect the CDP line to the fitting on the MEC. 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 270-300 pound-inches

 (30-34 Newton meters).
 2) Install the lockwire.


 (l)  
Connect the CBP line to the fitting on the MEC. 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches


 (15-17 Newton meters). 2) Install the lockwire. 3) Connect the clamps that attach the CDP and CBP lines to the
 bracket below the MEC.
 (m)  
Connect the flexible hose from the TC1 fitting on the MEC to the TC1 line. 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 270-300 pound-inches

 (30-34 Newton meters).

 (n)  
Connect the flexible hose from the TC2 fitting on the MEC to the TC2 line. 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches

 (15-17 Newton meters).

 (o)  
ENGINES WITH THE HPTCC TIMER; Connect the flexible hose from the TC3 fitting on the MEC to the TC3 line. 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches

 (15-17 Newton meters).

 (p)  
ENGINES WITHOUT THE HPTCC TIMER; Connect the clamps that attach the TC1 and TC2 lines to the brackets on the inboard side of the MEC.

 (14) Connect the fuel inlet pressure and the fuel outlet pressure lines from the switch to the fuel filter (Fig. 408).
 (a)  Tighten the coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches
 (15-17 Newton meters).

 (15) Install the plumbing lines that follow on the lower side of the MEC (Fig. 407):
 (a)  
Connect the PS12 pneumatic (POC port) line to the fitting on the MEC. 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches
