F.  Clean the Filter Fittings of the T2 Temperature Sensor (Fig. 701)

 (1)  Do these steps to clean the fittings.
 (a)  
Remove the filter fittings from the PB port and the P7 port of the T2 temperature sensor.

 (b)  
Discard the packings.

 WARNING:_______DO THIS TASK IN A CLEAN AREA. MAKE SURE THE AREA HAS GOOD AIRFLOW. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES. DO NOT LET OPEN FLAMES OR SPARKS NEAR THE AREA. DO NOT LET THE FLUID STAY ON YOUR SKIN. YOU CAN ABSORB POISONOUS MATERIALS FROM THE FLUID THROUGH YOUR SKIN.

 (c)  
Make sure the filter fittings are clean.

 1)  If it is necessary, clean the filter fittings with a stiff bristle brush and solvent.

 (d)  
Install the filter fittings. 1) Lubricate the new packings with petrolatum and install packing on the filter fittings.


 2)  Install the filter fittings to the PB port and the P7 port of the T2 temperature sensor. a) Tighten the filter fittings to 70-80 pound-inches
 (7.9-9.0 Newton meters).

 (2)  Connect the PB and P7 fuel tubes to the filter fittings of the T2 temperature sensor (AMM 73-21-09/401).

Close the left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

Do the idle leak check for idle power that is shown in the Power Plant Test Reference Table (AMM 71-00-00/501).

 A.  If there are leaks around the CBP sensor, it must be removed. This is to permit inspection and replacement of the CBP sensor o-rings. The CBP sensor is found on the aft side of the Main Engine Control (MEC).
