Tighten the nut to 270-300 pound-inches
(30-34 Newton meters).

Install lockwire on the nut.

(a) Tighten the screws to 32-35 pound-inches
(3.62-3.95 Newton meters).

(1) Remove the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(a) Set the BAT switch on the Electrical Meters Battery and Galley Power Module (P5-13) to the OFF position and install a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

(2) Open the right fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

Disconnect the electrical connector D3012 from the VBV reset solenoid.

Remove the solenoid (Fig. 401).

Remove the two screws (and clamp, if it is installed) that attach the solenoid to the MEC.
(b)
Remove and discard the two O-rings.
