(7) Remove the lockwire from the coupling nut.
(a) Disconnect the coupling nuts from the sensor fittings.

CAUTION: THE SENSOR IS SENSITIVE. CAREFULLY
_______DO NOT HANDLE ROUGHLY. HANDLE THE SENSOR TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE COIL, TUBE FITTINGS AND THE MATING FLANGE. DO NOT REPAIR THE INTERNAL PARTS OF THE SENSOR OR THE COIL.
HOLD THE CIT SENSOR WHEN YOU REMOVE THE LAST BOLT TO MAKE SURE THE SENSOR WILL NOT FALL. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS, DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(8) Do these steps to remove the sensor:
(a) Remove the 4 bolts that attach the sensor to the fan frame pad.
CAUTION: DO NOT PERMIT THE PERMANENT DEFORMATION OF THE FUEL TUBES
_______ WHILE YOU MOVE THEM. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS PRECAUTION, DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(b)
Hold the sensor with your hand. 1) Carefully move the fuel tube to be clear of the fittings on the sensor.
2) Move the fuel tubes only a sufficient distance to be clear of the fittings.
(c)
Carefully move the body of the sensor forward to permit the sensor coil to clear the fan frame port. 1) Pull the sensor from the fan frame.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the sealing surfaces on the
____ sensor fuel fittings.
(d)
Remove the O-rings from the grooves on the sensor fuel fittings. 1) Discard the O-rings.
(e)
Install the dust caps on the fuel fittings to keep the unwanted material out of the sensor.
