(1) Do the steps that follow to install the switch:
(a)
Put the switch on the bracket with the electrical connector facing aft.
(b)
Install the switch with a bolt and washer on the aft side first; then with two bolts, washers and nuts on the forward side.
(c)
Remove the protective caps from the plug and electrical connector.
(d)
Install the electrical connector, D1006, to the switch.
(e)
Install the pressure line for the fuel outlet from the top port of the fuel filter to the top port of the switch.
(f)
Install the pressure line for the fuel inlet from the bottom port of the fuel filter to the bottom port of the switch.
(g)
Install the drain plug for the fuel filter as follows: 1) Apply a thin layer of petrolatum lubricant on the O-ring. 2) Install the O-ring on the drain plug. 3) Apply a thin layer of grease to the threads of the drain
plug.

4) Install the drain plug to the fuel filter. a) Tighten the plug to 45-55 pound-inches (6-8 Newton meters) and lockwire.
(2) S 864-006-C00Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the applicable engine start lever.
(3) S 414-007-C00Close the left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).
(4) S 724-008-C00Do a test for the fuel filter bypass warning system (AMM 73-34-00/501).
(5) S 794-009-C00Do a test for the idle power leak check (AMM 71-00-00/501, Test No. 3).
