Connect the clamps that attach the CDP and CBP lines to the bracket below the MEC.

Connect the flexible hose from the TC1 fitting on the MEC to the TC1 line. 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 270-300 pound-inches
(30-34 Newton meters).
(o)
Connect the flexible hose from the TC2 fitting on the MEC to the TC2 line. 1) Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches
(15-17 Newton meters).

ENGINES WITH THE HPTCC TIMER;
Connect the flexible hose from the TC3 fitting on the MEC to
the TC3 line.
1) Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches
(15-17 Newton meters).
(q)
Connect the clamps that attach the TC1 and TC2 lines to the
brackets on the inboard side of the MEC.
(r)
ENGINES WITH THE HPTCC TIMER; Connect the clamp that attaches the TC3 line to the brackets on the inboard side of the MEC.

(15) Install the plumbing lines that follow on the lower side of the MEC (Fig. 406):
(a)
Connect the PS12 pneumatic (POC) line to the fitting on the
MEC.
1) Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches
(15-17 Newton meters).
2) Install the lockwire.
(b)
Connect the T2 (P7) fuel line to the fitting on the MEC.
1) Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches
(15-17 Newton meters).
2) Install the lockwire.

Install the VSV feedback cable as follows (Fig. 403):
CAUTION: YOU MUST RETRACT THE CABLE INNER MEMBER BEFORE YOU INSTALL

THE SUPPORT TUBE ASSEMBLY. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO
THE EXPOSED INNER MEMBER.
(a)
Make sure that the cable inner member is in the fully retracted position at the MEC end.
(b)
If it is not done, loosen the nose cap from the conduit cap.
NOTE: Do not disconnect the nose cap from the conduit cap.

(c) Carefully install the threaded part of the conduit cap into the MEC slotted bracket. 1) ENGINES WITH ONE WASHER BETWEEN THE NOSE CAP AND THE
CONDUIT CAP;
Put the washer into position on the nose cap side.
2) ENGINES WITH TWO WASHERS BETWEEN THE NOSE CAP AND THE CONDUIT CAP; Put one washer into position on the nose cap side and put the other washer on the conduit side.

CAUTION:_______DO NOT TWIST THE FEEDBACK CABLE. USE TWO WRENCHES WHEN YOU TIGHTEN THE NOSE CAP; ONE WRENCH ON THE NOSE CAP AND ONE ON THE CONDUIT CAP.
(d) Install the nose cap on the conduit cap.
1) Tighten the nose cap to 180-200 pound-inches
(20.3-22.6 Newton meters).
2) Install the lockwire.
NOTE: Do not connect the VSV feedback cable to the MEC
____ feedback arm at this time. The cable will be connected when you do the travel check of the the VSV feedback cable (AMM 71-00-00/501, Test No. 6).
