(a) Examine the P7 fitting to see if air comes out.

(5) If air flow comes out from the P7 fitting, the sensor must be
replaced (AMM 73-21-09/401).
NOTE:____Air flow through the sensor shows an internal failure. An internal failure which shows a temperature change cannot be found with this check. The T2 temperature sensor must be removed, and a bench check must be done for this type of failure.

(6) Remove the plastic tubing and connect the P7 tube to the correct
fitting on the sensor housing.
(a) Tighten the tube nut to 270-300 pound-inches
(30.5-33.9 Newton meters).

(7) S 436-015-C00Connect the PB tube to the fitting on the sensor housing. (a) On engines with PB tube P/N 335-208-801-0, tighten the tube nut to 280 pound-inches (32 Newton meters). (b) On engines with PB tube P/N 335-208-803-0, tighten the tube nut to 195-210 pound-inches (22-24 Newton meters).
(8) S 796-016-C00Do an idle leak check (AMM 71-00-00/501, Test No. 3).
(9) S 416-017-C00Close the left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).
