Make sure you did the Prepare For Input Parameter Test task.

Make sure the flap system is serviceable (AMM 27-81-00/201).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE THRUST REVERSER COWLS (C-DUCTS) ARE IN THE CLOSED
_______ POSITION BEFORE YOU DO THIS TEST. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FLAPS AND COWLS IF THE COWLS ARE OPEN WHEN THE FLAPS EXTEND.
(3) Do this test of the signals from the leading edge flaps:
(a)
Move the flaps to get the conditions shown in the table.
(b)
Set the portable tester to the SUBFRAMEs and WORDs shown in the table.
(c)
Make sure the conditions of the bit lights on the portable tester agree with the applicable values in the table.
