(1) Make sure you did the Prepare For Input Parameter Test task.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE THRUST REVERSER COWLS (C-DUCTS) ARE IN THE CLOSED
_______ POSITION BEFORE YOU DO THIS TEST. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FLAPS AND COWLS IF THE COWLS ARE OPEN WHEN THE FLAPS EXTEND.
(2)
Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
(a) P6-3 Panel
1) C00313, MASTER DIM SECTION 1
2) C00317, MASTER DIM SECTION 5
3) C00318, MASTER DIM SECTION 6
(3)
Make sure the hydraulic systems A, B, and STBY are off.

(4) Do a test of the system A eng low pressure signal.
(a)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 2, WORD 30. 1) Make sure the system A-ENG 1 LOW PRESSURE light on the P5
forward overhead panel is on. 2) Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester is off.
(b)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) P6-3 Panel
a) MASTER DIM SECTION 6
(c)
Disconnect electrical connector D2684 from the low pressure switch S796 for the system A engine pump.
(d)
Close this circuit breaker:
1) P6-3 Panel
a) MASTER DIM SECTION 6
(e)
Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester is on.
(f)
Make sure the system A-ENG 1 LOW PRESSURE light is off.

(5) Do a test of the system B eng low pressure signal.
(a)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 1, WORD 21.
(b)
Make sure the system B-ENG 2 LOW PRESSURE light on the P5 forward overhead panel is on.
(c)
Make sure the BIT 1 light on the portable tester is off.
(d)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) P6-3 Panel
a) MASTER DIM SECTION 5
(e)
Disconnect electrical connector D2686 from the low pressure switch S797 for the engine pump for system B.
(f)
Close this circuit breaker:
1) P6-3 Panel
a) MASTER DIM SECTION 5
(g)
Make sure the BIT 1 light on the portable tester is on.
(h)
Make sure the system B-ENG 2 LOW PRESSURE light is off.
(i)
Open these circuit breakers:
1) P6-3 Panel
a) MASTER DIM SECTION 1
b) MASTER DIM SECTION 5
c) MASTER DIM SECTION 6
(j)
Connect the electrical connectors to the low pressure switches for systems A and B engine pumps.
(k)
Close these circuit breakers:
1) P6-3 Panel
a) MASTER DIM SECTION 1
b) MASTER DIM SECTION 5
c) MASTER DIM SECTION 6

(6) Do a test of the low pressure signals for system B elec.
(a)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 1, WORD 29.
(b)
Make sure the system B-ELEC 1 LOW PRESSURE light is on.
(c)
Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester is off.
WARNING: MAKE SURE PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU DO THIS TEST. THE LE AND TE FLAPS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
