Move the thrust lever to the idle position.
(i)
Do the same test steps again for thrust lever No. 2.
(j)
Move thrust lever No. 2 to a position of more than 33 degrees from the idle position. 1) Make sure you hear the intermittent horn.
(k)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) On the P6 panel:
a) AURAL WARN
2) Make sure the intermittent horn stops.
(l)
Put the thrust lever back to the idle position.
(m)
Close this circuit breaker:
1) On the P6 panel:
a) AURAL WARN 2) Make sure the intermittent horn stays off.
(n)
Put the stabilizer back in the green band range.

(3) Do a test of the Flap Takeoff Warning Switch (S130) and L/E and T/E flap aural warning circuits.
NOTE: Do this test with the flap system correctly
____ adjusted and with the hydraulic systems A and B pressurized.
(a) Do the Prepare-To-Test tasks.

(b)
Make sure this circuit breaker is closed:
1) On the P6 panel:
a) AURAL WARN
(c)
Move one of the thrust levers full forward.
(d)
Fully retract the flaps. 1) Make sure you hear the intermittent horn.
CAUTION: CAREFULLY PULL THE TELEFLEX CABLE UNTIL THE AIR MODE
_______ SENSOR OPERATES. IF YOU DO NOT PULL THE CABLE CAREFULLY, DAMAGE TO THE SENSOR TARGET BRACKET CAN OCCUR.
(e) Put the airplane into the simulated air mode by one of two procedures. 1) push and hold the air sensing switch (S1) on the E11
landing gear logic shelf or,
2) disconnect the teleflex cable on the right main gear upper torsion link. a) Extend the teleflex cable.
(f)
Make sure the intermittent horn stops.
(g)
Release the air sensing test switch or compress the teleflex cable. 1) Make sure you hear the intermittent horn.
(h)
Pull to release, then set and hold the LE OVERRIDE TEST SWITCH (S785, E3-1 shelf) to the OVERRIDE position. 1) Make sure the No. 1 and No. 4 LE FLAP EXTEND lights at the
P5-12 LE annunciator panel come on (green).
2) Make sure the intermittent horn stays on.
(i)
Put the flap control lever in the 1-unit detent.
1) Make sure the intermittent horn stops at or before the 1-unit position.
(j)
Release the OVERRIDE TEST switch to the center OFF position.
1) Make sure the No. 1 and No. 4 LE FLAP EXTEND lights stay on.
(k)
Put the flap control lever in the 15-unit. 1) Make sure the intermittent horn stays off.

Pull to release, then set and hold the LE test switch (S784 E3-1 shelf, above S785) to the L LE TEST position. 1) Make sure you hear the intermittent horn. 2) Make sure the No. 1 LE FLAP EXTEND light on the LE
annunciator panel goes off.
(m)
Put the test switch back to the NORMAL position. 1) Make sure the intermittent horn stops. 2) Make sure the light for the No. 1 LE FLAP EXTEND comes on.
(n)
Pull to release, then set and hold the LE test switch to the R LE TEST position. 1) Make sure you hear the intermittent horn. 2) Make sure the light for the No. 4 LE FLAP EXTEND goes off.
(o)
Put the test switch back to the NORMAL position. 1) Make sure the intermittent horn stops. 2) The light for the No. 4 LE FLAP EXTEND will come on.
(p)
Fully extend the flaps.
