(33) Do the Thrust Lever/Landing Gear Warning Test again, but do a check of the light indications and horn condition for the left main gear.

(34) Do the steps that follow to put the left main gear back to an extended position.
(a)
Put the landing gear lever in the DOWN position.
(b)
Remove the steel actuator bar from the uplock sensor switch of the left main gear (S72).
(c)
Remove the aluminum or copper deactuator shield from the downlock sensor of the left main gear (S71). 1) Make sure the left main gear red light on the P2 panel goes
off and the green light comes on.

(35) Move thrust lever No. 1 to a position of less than 33 degrees but more than 8.5 degrees from the idle position.
(a)
Make sure you do not hear the continuous horn.
(b)
Put the thrust levers back to a position of more than 33 degrees forward of the idle position.

Remove the lockpins

(b) Put an aluminum or copper deactuator shield between the downlock sensor switch (S71) of the left main gear and the steel actuator arm.
NOTE:____ The switch is on the side brace of the left main gear.

(4) S 865-249Put the landing gear handle in the OFF position.
NOTE:____ The thrust levers must be in a position of more than 33 degrees forward from the idle position.
(5) S 865-250Extend the flaps to 15 units.
(6) S 865-251Move the thrust levers No. 1 and 2 to 19-24 degrees from the idle position. (a) Make sure you hear the continuous horn at thrust levers positions less than 31 degrees from the idle position.
(7) S 865-306Push the horn cutout switch on the control stand. (a) Make sure you hear the continuous horn.
(8) S 865-252Move thrust lever No. 1 forward. (a) Make sure the continuous horn is off at thrust lever positions greater than 33 degrees from the idle position.
