 (3)  Do the BITE test on the EIS Primary Display:
 NOTE: If the input signal of the actual N1 is 10% RPM or more on
____ one of the two engines, then you cannot do a BITE test.
 WARNING: WHEN PERFORMING THE BITE TEST, DO NOT INSERT YOUR HANDS OR
_______ TOOLS IN THE OUTFLOW VALVE. THE OUTFLOW VALVE IS MOTOR OPERATED AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
 (a)  Push and hold the BITE switch on the bottom of the front bezel on the Primary Display. 1) If the BITE test is unsatisfactory,
 make sure that a fault code is shown on the digital display counter during the BITE sequence.
 2)  If the BITE test is satisfactory, make sure you see these indications on the Primary Display during the BITE sequence: a) All 16 segments in each of the 5 characters of the TMA
 display come on (for EFIS configured airplanes only). b) All segments of each numeral on two MAN SET counter
 come on. c) Each of the %N1 limit counter displays show 188.8. d) All pointers and counters of %N1, EGT, %N2, and FF
 parameters set to 0 and then go to full scale. e) The counters indications follow those of their pointer. f) The N1 bug changes from 55 to 106 %RPM. g) The %N1, EGT, and %N2 warning lights come on when their
 pointers go into the red band. h) The %N1, EGT, %N2, and FF displays then change to the values that are shown below:
 N1: 106 | 0.1 %RPM
 EGT: 930 | 2.5 °C (flashing)
 N2: 105.0 | 0.1 %RPM
 FF: 10,000 | 10 PPH (Pound Version)

 5,000 | 5 KGPH (Kilogram Version)
 (b)  Release the BITE switch.
 1)  Make sure all the displays change to their initial condition before the BITE test.

 D.  BITE Test of EIS Secondary Display
 NOTE: If the signal of the engine oil pressure is 13 psi or more on one

 of the two engines, then you cannot do a BITE test.

 (1) Make sure these EIS circuit breakers are closed on P6-2 panel:
 (a)  
EIS SEC 1

 (b)  
EIS SEC 2

 (c)  
EIS SEC 3

 (d)  
EIS SEC 4

 (e)  
EIS SEC 5

 (f)  
EIS SEC 6

 (2)  Do the BITE Test on the EIS Secondary Display:
 (a)  Push and hold the BITE switch in the bottom of the front bezel on the Secondary Display. 1) If the BITE test is unsatisfactory,
 make sure that a fault code will be shown on engine oil quantity (OIL QTY) display counters throughout the BITE sequence.
 2)  If the BITE test is satisfactory, make sure that these indications will be seen on the Secondary Display: a) The TAT display shows -88. b) Each of the engine and hydraulic oil quantity displays
 show 188. c) Each display LED pointer will set to zero and then go to full scale. d) All seven segments of each character in all of the digital counters come on. e) Each parameter display value then changes from the maximum values to the values that are shown below:

 (b)  Release the BITE switch.
 1)  Make sure the displays change to their initial condition before the BITE test.
 E.  Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
