 (q)  
Position the flap control lever to the 1-unit detent.


 1)  Make sure the intermittent horn stops by FLAPS 15 and stays off between FLAPS 15 and FLAPS 1 positions.

 (4)  Do a test of the Stabilizer Takeoff Warning Switches S546 (nose down) and S132 (nose up).
 (a)  
Do the Prepare-To-Test tasks.

 (b)  
Make sure this circuit breaker is closed:

 1)  On the P6 panel:
 a) AURAL WARN


 (c)  
Move one of the thrust levers full forward.

 (d)  
Start from in the green band range and move the stabilizer in the APL NOSE DOWN direction. 1) Make sure you hear the horn when the pointer is off of the

 green band (+/- one-half unit).

 (e)  
Move the stabilizer in the APL NOSE UP direction.

 1)  Make sure the horn stops when the pointer gets to the green band (+/- one-half unit).

 (f)  
Continue to move the stabilizer in the APL NOSE UP direction to the other end of the green band. 1) Make sure you hear the horn when the pointer is off of the

 green band (+/- one-half unit).

 (g)  
Move the stabilizer in the APL NOSE DOWN direction.

 1)  Make sure the horn stops when the pointer gets on the green band (+/- one-half unit).

 (h)  
Move the stabilizer through its full range. 1) Make sure you do not hear the horn while the pointer is between the two ends (+/- one-half unit) of the green band.

 2)  You will hear the horn when the pointer is off of the green band (+/- one-half unit) at one of the two ends.

 (i)  
Put the stabilizer position pointer back to the center of the green band.

 (j)  Put the flap control lever in the five unit detent.
 S 725-115
 (5)  Do a test of the Speed Brake Takeoff Warning Switch (S651).
 (a)  
Do the Prepare-To-Test tasks.

 (b)  
Make sure this circuit breaker is closed:

 1)  On the P6 panel:
 a) AURAL WARN


 (c)  
Move one of the thrust levers full forward.

 (d)  
Lift the SPEED BRAKE lever out of the DOWN detent but do not move the lever aft of the detent.

 (e)  
Put the lever back into the detent. 1) Make sure you hear the horn when the lever is out of the DOWN detent.

 2)  Make sure the horn stops when you put the lever back into the detent.

 (f)  
Lift the SPEED BRAKE lever out of the DOWN detent.
 1) Make sure you hear the intermittent horn.


 (g)  
Move the lever thru its full range then back to the DOWN detent. 1) Make sure the intermittent horn stays on while the lever is

 out of the DOWN detent.

 (h)  
Retract the flaps to 0-unit detent.

 (i)  
Put the thrust lever back to the idle position.

 (6)  Do a test of the Parking Brake warning (airplanes with an aural warning for the parking brake installed).
 (a)  
Do the Prepare-To-Test tasks.

 (b)  
Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
 1) On the P6 panel:
 a) AURAL WARN


 2)  On the P6 panel: a) LANDING GEAR FAIL WARNING AND PARK BRAKE

 (c)  
Move one of the thrust levers full forward.

 (d)
Put the flap control lever in the five unit detent.

 (e)
Push the brake pedals to engage the parking brakes.

 1)  Make sure the PARKING BRAKE ON light comes on and you hear the intermittent horn.

 (f)  
Release the parking brakes.
