Release the captain's right brake pedal.

 (j)  
Remove the hydraulic power from system B.

 (k)  
Pump the brake pedals to fully deplete the accumulator.

 (l)  
Supply hydraulic power to system A.

 (m)  
Push and hold the captain's left brake pedal fully against the stop.

 (n)  
Make sure the portable tester display agrees with the values in the first table.

 (o)  
Release the captain's left brake pedal.

 (p)  
Push and hold the captain's right brake pedal.

 (q)  
Make sure the portable tester display agrees with the values in the second table.

 (r)  
Release the captain's right brake pedal.

Remove the hydraulic power if it is not necessary (AMM 29-00-00/201).

If you will do no more tests, then do this task:

 (1)  Make sure you did the Prepare For Input Parameter Test task.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Supply hydraulic power A and B (AMM 29-00-00/201).

 (3)  
Make sure the control column is in the neutral position.

 (4)  
Install a rig pin in the captain's control column.

 (5)  
Do this test of the position signals from the control column:

 (a)  
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 0, WORD 21.

 (b)  
Make sure the portable tester display is 7765 to 0013 (nominal 0000).

 (c)  
Remove the rig pin from the captain's control column.

 (d)  
Move the control column to the positions shown in the table.

 NOTE:____Do not use too much force on the control column. If you use too much force on the control column, you will not see the correct values.

 (e)  
Make sure the portable tester display agrees with the values in the table.
