 Move the two thrust levers to a position of more than 33 degrees forward of the idle position.

 Retract the main landing gear on the right side.


 (a)  Remove the ground lockpins from the right main gear.
 (b)  Operate the override trigger and retract the main landing gear
 for the right side.
 (c)  If airplane jacks are not available or it is not possible to
 put the airplane on jacks, use a simulated gear position as
 follows:
 NOTE:____ Simulated air mode is also necessary if airplane jacks
 are not used.
 1)  Put the landing gear lever to the off position.
 2)  Make sure all the red gear lights come on and all the green
 gear lights stay on.
 NOTE:____ The warning horn is off.
 3)  Put a copper deactuator shield between the downlock sensor
 for the right main gear (S73) and the steel actuator arm.
 4)  Put a steel actuator bar on the uplock sensor switch for
 the right main gear (S74).
 NOTE:____ The sensor switch is found adjacent to the uplock
 hook.
 (d)  If you used a simulated gear position you must also use a
 simulated air mode:
 CAUTION:_______ CAREFULLY PULL THE TELEFLEX CABLE UNTIL THE AIR MODE
 SENSOR OPERATES.  IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, YOU CAN
 CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIR MODE SENSOR TARGET BRACKET.
 1)  Disconnect the push-pull teleflex cable from the right
 upper torsion link of the right main gear.
 2)  Extend the cable.
 NOTE:____ This will stop the operations of the takeoff
 warning horn.

 (14) Do a test of the switch:
 (a)  
Move the flap control lever to a position greater than the 15 unit position. 1) Make sure you hear the warning horn.

 (b)  
Push the horn cutout switch.
 1) Make sure the horn stays on.


 (c)  
Move the flap control lever to the 15 and 1 unit positions.

 1)  Make sure the horn stops at the 15 unit position and stays off when you move the flap control lever from the 15 to 1 unit position.

 (d)  
Move the flap control lever to the 15 unit position.

 (e)  
Move the two thrust levers to a position less than 30 degrees but greater than 10 degrees. 1) Make sure the warning horn sounds.

 (f)  
Move the flap control lever to the 10 unit position. 1) Make sure the warning horn stops.

 (g)  
Move the flap control lever to the 1 unit position. 1) Make sure the warning horn remains off.

 (15) Do this task:  "Flap Position / Landing Gear Warning Test"
 (Ref 31-26-00/501).

 F.  Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

Extend the right main landing gear.

Install the gear ground lockpin.

 (3)  
If you used a simulated gear position, remove the deactuator shields and the actuator bars.

 (a)  Connect the teleflex cable.

 (4)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 (5)
Remove hydraulic power if it is not necessary (Ref 29-15-00/201).

 (6)  
Lower the airplane (Ref 7-11-11/201).
