Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester is on.
(g)
Set the system B-ELEC 1 switch to the OFF position.
(h)
Make sure the ELEC-1 LOW PRESSURE light comes on.
(i)
Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester goes out.

(7) Do a test of the low pressure signals for system A elec.
(a) Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 2, WORD 35.
WARNING: MAKE SURE PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU DO THIS TEST. THE LE AND TE FLAPS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(b)
Set the system A-ELEC 2 switch to the ON position.
(c)
Make sure the electrical pump for system A is on and the ELEC-2 LOW PRESSURE light is off.
(d)
Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester is on.
(e)
Set the system A-ELEC 2 switch to the OFF position.
(f)
Make sure the ELEC-2 LOW PRESSURE light comes on.
(g)
Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester is off.

(8) Do a test of the low pressure signals from the standby hydraulic pump.
(a)
Open these circuit breakers:
1) P6-11 Panel
a) C00847, NORMAL STANDBY HYDRAULIC PUMP
2) P6-12 Panel a) C00848, ALTERNATE STANDBY HYDRAULIC PUMP
(b)
Set the FLT CONTROL A switch on the P5-3 panel to the STBY RUD position.
(c)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 2, WORD 29.
(d)
Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester is off.
(e)
Close these circuit breakers:
1) P6-11 Panel a) C00847, NORMAL STANDBY HYDRAULIC PUMP

Open the IRS-1 AC circuit breaker.
