Do this test of the signals from the autothrottle computer.
(a)
Put the left throttle in the fully forward position.
(b)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 2, WORD 04.
(c)
Make sure the portable tester display is 2000 to 2707.
(d)
Put the right throttle in the fully aft position (IDLE).
(e)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 1, WORD 04.
(f)
Make sure the portable tester display is 7525 to 0253 (nominal 0000).

(4) If you will do no more tests, then do this task:

Do this test of the signals from the clock:
(a)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 3, WORD 30.
(b)
Set the captain's clock to 13 hours and 42 minutes.
(c)
Put the GMT knob on the clock to the RUN position.
(d)
Immediately make sure the portable tester display is 3324 or 3325.
(e)
Set the clock to the correct time.
