Put the control lever for the landing gear in the DN position.
(a) Make sure all the green lights on the P2 panel come on when all the landing gears are down and locked.

(10) Connect the hydraulic pressure supply to systems A and B
(AMM 29-15-00/201).
(a) Pressurize hydraulic systems A and B to 3000 psi (AMM 29-15-00/201, and AMM 27-51-00/201).

(11) Extend the trailing edge flaps to the 1-unit position
(AMM 27-51-00/501).
(a) Make sure the flaps extend to the 1-unit position.

(2) Put the landing gear control lever UP and retract the nose landing
gear to the up and locked position.
NOTE: The red light for the nose gear is on during movement and____
goes off when the gear locks in the up position.
(a) Make sure you do not hear the continuous horn.

(3) Put the control lever for the landing gear in the OFF position.
(a) Make sure you do not hear the continuous horn.

(4) Move the No. 1 thrust lever slowly aft.

(5) When the thrust lever gets to a position less than 8.5 degrees
forward of the idle stop:
(a) Make sure you hear the continuous horn.
(b) Make sure the red light for the nose gear comes on.
(c) Adjust the switches in the autothrottle switch pack (M1639) if
it is necessary (AMM 27-62-04/401).

(6) Retract the flaps to the full UP position.
(a) Make sure the continuous horn stops.

(7) Move both thrust levers to a position less than 30 degrees but more
than 8.5 degrees.

(8) Extend the flaps to the 15 unit detent.
(a) Make sure you hear the continuous horn.
(b) Make sure you hear the continuous horn when the flap is greater
than the 10 unit position.
(c) Adjust switch S138 if it is necessary (AMM 31-26-12/401).

(9) Move the No. 1 thrust lever past the 33 degree position.
(a) Make sure the continuous horn stops.

(10) Move the No. 1 thrust lever to a position less than 33 degrees and more than 8.5 degrees.

(11) Move the No. 2 thrust lever past the 33 degree position.
(a) Make sure the continuous horn stops.

(12) Move the No. 2 thrust lever to a position less than 33 degrees and more than 11 degrees.
(a) Make sure you hear the continuous horn.

(a) Make sure horn goes off.

Make sure you hear the continuous horn when the thrust level is at approximately the 10 degree position and that the horn continues when one or both thrust levers are less than 10 degrees.
