Make sure you did the Prepare For Input Parameter Test task.

Make sure the airplane engines are off.

(3)
Do this test of the signals from the autothrottle computer.
(a)
Put the left throttle in the fully forward position.
(b)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 0, WORD 21 for throttle No. 1.
(c)
Make sure the portable tester display is 2000 to 2707.
(d)
Put the right throttle in the fully aft position (IDLE).
(e)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 0, WORD 53 for throttle No. 2.
(f)
Make sure the portable tester display is 7525 to 0253 (nominal 0000).

Make sure you did the Prepare For Input Parameter Test task.

Do this test of the signals from the clock:
(a)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 3, WORD 30.
(b)
Set the captain's clock to 13 hours and 42 minutes.
(c)
Immediately make sure the portable tester display is 3324 or 3325.
(d)
Set the clock to the correct time.

Do this test of the signals from the DAA.
(a)
Set the captain's VHF NAV control panel on P8 the control stand to the MAN position.
(b)
Tune the VHF NAV to 108.25 MHz.
(c)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 4, WORD 31.
(d)
Make sure the portable tester display is 2022 or 2023.
(e)
Set the F/O VHF NAV control panel to the MAN position.
(f)
Tune the F/O VHF NAV to 109.5 MHz.
(g)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 2, WORD 31.
