Close these circuit breakers:


 S 865-165
 (a)  On the P6 panel:
 1) LND GR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS

 (8)  
Do the test procedures for the Takeoff Warning System for switches S814 and S815.

 S 825-101

 (9)  
If it is necessary to replace switch S130, do this procedure, Adjust The Flap Takeoff Warning Switch (AMM 31-26-23/401).

 (a)  
Supply hydraulic system B power (AMM 27-51-00/201).

 (b)  
Retract the flaps with the flap control lever to the usual retracted position (zero-unit detent).

 (c)  
Keep the flaps retracted for 5 minutes.

 (d)  
Remove the No. 4 jackscrew fairing.

 (e)  
Make a record of the X dimension (Fig. 503) between the ball screw nut and its upstop.

 (f)  
Move the flap control lever to the 15-unit detent.

 (g)  
Set the flaps electrically until dimension X is 24.95 to 25.10 inches more than in the step before.

 (h)  
Remove the switch cover from the flap control unit.

 1)  The switch cover is in the ceiling area of the right wheel well (Detail C, Fig. 502).

 (i)  
Adjust the takeoff warning switch to its operation cam until the switch operates.

 (j)  
Lock the position of the switch in all axes then put a lockwire on the switch safety nuts.

 (k)  
Put the switch cover back on the flap control unit.

 (l)  
Put the alternate flap switch in the OFF position.

 (m)  
Put the flap control lever at the 0-unit detent.

 (n)  
Do the test procedures for the takeoff warning system thru the test of switch S130.

 (o)  
Remove the hydraulic power from system B (AMM 27-51-00/201) if it is not necessary.

 S 825-102
 (10) If it is necessary to replace switches S546 and S132, do this procedure, Adjust The Upper and Lower Stabilizer Takeoff Warning Switches (AMM 31-26-24/401).
 (a)  Open the aft access door 3701 (stabilizer actuator compartment)
 for access to the switches.
 (b)  Make sure the speed brakes are down and the flaps are in the
 takeoff range (flaps 1 to 15).
 (c)  Move one of the engine thrust levers full forward.
 (d)  Move the stabilizer in the leading edge up (airplane nose down)
 direction.
 1) Make sure you hear the warning horn when DIMENSION B is in
 the correct range for the upper switch (Table 1, Detail D
 Fig. 502).
 2) Use a trammel bar to measure DIMENSION B.
 (e)  If you do not hear the horn in the correct range, adjust the
 upper takeoff warning switch as follows:
 (f)  Open these circuit breakers:
 1) On the P6 panel:
 a) LIGHTS
 b) AURAL WARN
 2) Set DIMENSION B for switch adjustment in Table 1
 (Detail C).
 CAUTION: LOOSEN THE LOCKNUT FIRST IN THE STEP THAT FOLLOWS._______
 DAMAGE TO THE WORM GEAR MECHANISM CAN OCCUR.
 3) Loosen but do not remove the locknut which attaches the
 switch arm to the switch.
 4) Loosen the worm gear locking screw and turn the worm gear
 on the opposite side until the switch operates.
 5) Tighten and put a lockwire on the worm gear locking screw,
 then tighten the locknut.
 (g)  Close these circuit breakers:
 1) On the P6 panel:
 a) LIGHTS
