Make sure you did the Prepare For Input Parameter Test task.

Do this test of the position signals from the speed brake:
(a)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 0, WORD 25.
(b)
Set the speed brake handle to the positions shown in the table (AMM 27-62-00/501).
(c)
Make sure the portable tester display agrees with the values in the table.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Supply hydraulic power for systems A and B (AMM 29-00-00/201).

Do this test of the position signals from the stabilizer:
(a)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 0, WORD 23.
(b)
Put the horizontal stabilizer in the positions shown in the table (AMM 27-41-00/501).
(c)
Make sure the portable tester displays agree with the values in the table.
