D. Procedure

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do one of these steps:
(a)
Make sure the flap control lever is outside of the takeoff range.
(b)
Make sure the speedbrake handle is not in the down detent position.
(c)
Make sure the stabilizer is out of the green band range.
(d)
Make sure the leading edge flaps are not extended.
(e)
Make sure the parking brake is set.

(3) Do the operational test of the aural warning module:
(a)
Move the thrust levers to the takeoff position. 1) Make sure you hear the warning horn.
(b)
Move the thrust levers to the idle position. 1) Make sure the warning horn stops.

(4) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

3. AIRPLANES WITH 69-78214 SERIES AURAL WARNING MODULE; Aural Warning Module BITE_________________________
A. General
(1) The BITE is an operational check of the two channels in the aural warning module. Channel A and channel B need to be tested separately. Failure of the BITE indicate failure of the module.
