(2) S 865-027Put the TEST--NORMAL switch to the NORMAL position.
(3) S 865-028Put the POWER switch on the portable tester to the OFF position.
(4) S 085-029Disconnect the portable tester from the system test plug on the P18 panel.
(5) S 865-030Remove the hydraulic power (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(6) S 865-031Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

FLIGHT RECORDER ACCELEROMETER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the flight data recorder accelerometer.
B. The accelerometer is on the forward wall of the right main wheel well.

(1) Open these circuit breakers:
(a) P18 Panel
1) FLIGHT RECORDER AC
2) FLIGHT RECORDER DC

CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WITH THE ACCELEROMETER. YOU CAN EASILY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ACCELEROMETER.
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector, D821, from the accelerometer (Fig. 401).

Remove the screws that attach the accelerometer to the mounting bracket.
(4)
Remove the accelerometer.
