b) AURAL WARN
(h)
Move the stabilizer in the leading edge down (airplane nose up) direction. 1) Make sure you hear the warning horn when DIMENSION B is in
the correct range (Table 1) for the lower switch. 2) Use a trammel bar to measure DIMENSION B.
(i)
If you do not hear the horn in the correct range, adjust the stabilizer switch for the lower takeoff warning.
(j)
Adjust the lower switch the same as the upper switch.
(k)
Do the test procedures for the Takeoff Warning System for switches S546 and S132.

(11) Adjust The Takeoff Warning Switch for the Speed Brake S651 (Details E and F, Fig. 502).
NOTE: Replace the switch (AMM 31-26-26/401) if necessary.

(a)
Put the two thrust levers at the idle position.
(b)
Put the reverse thrust levers at the full forward position.
(c)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) P6 Load Control Center - Right
a) LANDING GEAR LIGHTS
(d)
Disconnect the electrical wires from the switch terminals.
(e)
Lift the speed brake lever out of the down detent and move it aft.
(f)
Connect an ohmmeter between terminals C and NC of the switch. 1) Make sure there is continuity between the terminals.
(g)
Put the speed brake lever back into the down detent.
(h)
Connect an ohmmeter between terminals C and NO of the switch. 1) Make sure there is continuity between the terminals. 2) If it is necessary, adjust the switch attachment screw
until you get continuity.
(i)
Use shims to lift the speed brake lever directly up 0.01 to
0.02 of an inch.
1) Make sure the continuity stays between the C and NO terminals.

Use shims to lift the speed brake lever an additional 0.01 inches or more. 1) Make sure there is no continuity between the C and NO
terminals.

Remove the shims.

Remove the ohmmeter.

Put the control stand back to its usual position.

Connect the electrical wires to the switch terminals.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
(a) On the P6 panel:

8. Takeoff Warning System Test___________________________
A. General
(1)
The takeoff warning system has these switches:
(a)
Two thrust lever operated warning switches
(b)
A flap warning switch
(c)
A speed brake warning switch
(d)
Two stabilizer warning switches
(e)
On airplanes with aural warning logic for the parking brake, a parking brake ON warning switch is installed.
(2)
The takeoff warning system gets power through the landing gear safety switch and is serviceable only when the airplane is on the ground.

The thrust lever operated switches are connected in parallel.
