(16) Move thrust lever No. 1 to a position more than 11 degrees forward from the idle position.

Make sure you hear the continuous horn.

(c)
Adjust the switches in the autothrottle switch pack (M1639) if it is necessary (AMM 27-62-04/401).

(20) When the thrust lever gets to a position less than 8.5 degrees forward of the idle stop, do these steps:
(a)
Make sure you hear the continuous horn.
(b)
Make sure the red light for the nose gear is on.
(c)
Adjust the switches in the autothrottle switch pack (M1640) if it is necessary (AMM 27-62-04/401).

(21) Move thrust lever No. 2 forward.
(a)
Make sure the continuous horn does not stop before the thrust lever is 8.5 degrees from the idle position.
(b)
Make sure the red light for the nose gear goes off.

(26) Do the Thrust Lever/Landing Gear Warning Test again but use the left main gear and gear lights.
(a) Put the ground lockpin in the left main gear when you are done.

(a) Put the ground lockpin in the right main gear when you are done.

(28) Make sure you install all the ground lockpins in all landing gear before you continue with the tests.
