 E.  When you do a BITE test, the EIS does a test of different circuits. If a test is successful, the applicable LCD pointer and digital display will move from minimum to maximum value. The over limit lights will come on when the displays exceed the limit values. After the maximum value is reached, the displays will move to a set value until you release the test switch. The EIS will show digital fault codes if a failure is found. When you release the test switch, the displays will go back to their pretest values.
 F.  If a BITE test failure occurs in the EIS Primary Display, a fault code will be shown on the digital display of the failed engine parameter(s) during the BITE sequence.
 G.  If a BITE test failure occurs in the EIS Secondary Display, a fault code will be shown on engine oil quantity (OIL QTY) digital counters during the BITE sequence.
 H.  The Abnormal Start Advisory is indicated by the flashing of the EGT gage digital counter on the primary display. The EGT gage digital counter flashes two times per second to indicate conditions that may lead to an abnormal engine start. If an Abnormal Start Advisory occurs, you must continue to monitor other engine indications and abort the start if necessary.
