Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 0, WORD 20.

Make sure the BIT 1 light on the portable tester is off.
(h)
Push the NOSE SENSING test switch on the landing gear logic unit on the E11 shelf.
(i)
Make sure the BIT 1 light on the portable tester is on.

(a) P6-2 Panel
1) AFCS-B MACH TRIM DC
2) AFCS-B SENSOR EXC AC
3) AFCS-B ENGA INTLK
4) AFCS-B MACH TRIM AC
5) AFCS-B FCC DC

(3) Do this test of the signals from the captain's A/P warning light:
(a)
Set the portable tester to SUBFRAME 0, WORD 21.
(b)
Get the FMC MAINT PAGE on the CDU.
(c)
Push the line select key next to the DFCS BITE prompt.
(d)
Make sure the captain's A/P warning light is on.
(e)
Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester is off.
(f)
Push the INIT REF key on the FMC CDU.
(g)
Make sure the captain's A/P warning light is off.
(h)
Make sure the BIT 2 light on the portable tester is on.
