 ú ú  (9)  To make sure that thrust reverser faults are not caused during thistest.
 ú ú  (a)  Do the thrust reverser deactivation for ground maintenance (AMM78-31-00/201) on both engines.

 (10) Do a test of the RTO automatic speed brake operation:
 NOTE:____ During this test you will use the Antiskid System Control Unit installed on the E3-2 shelf in the electrical
 compartment. The control unit gives wheel speed signals to the automatic speed brake system.
 The weight of the airplane must be on the landing gear or the right main landing gear must be compressed a minimum of five inches during this test.
 (a) (b) (c)  Move the No. 1 reverse thrust lever to the REVERSE thrust position. 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light comes on.Turn the WHEEL SELECT knob to the LO position (Fig. 507).Push and hold the LW and SKID buttons. 1) Make sure the speed brake lever move to the UP position. 2) Make sure the ground and flight spoilers move to the up position.

 3) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light stays on.
 NOTE: The SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light will come on
____ momentarily if you do not push the buttons at the same time.
 (d)  
Release the buttons. 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light is off. 2) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light comes on.

 (e)  
Move the No. 1 reverse thrust lever to the stowed position.

 (f)  
Move the No. 1 thrust lever forward. 1) Make sure the speed brake control lever moves to the DOWN position. 2) Make sure the ground and flight spoilers move to the full


 down position. 3) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light goes off. 4) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light comes on and then
 goes off when the speed brake control lever gets to the DOWN position.
 (g)  
Move the No. 1 thrust lever the idle position.

 (h)  
Do the RTO test again with the No. 2 reverse thrust lever.

 If you disconnected the ground spoiler interlock valve cable, install the cable:

 (a)  
Connect the ground spoiler interlock valve cable to torsion link for the right landing gear.

 (b)  
Do the adjustment and test of the ground spoiler interlock valve cable (AMM 27-62-51/501).

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

 (1)  
Move the WHEEL SELECT knob to the OFF position.

 (2)
Remove the systems A and B hydraulic power (AMM 27-62-00/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
P6-2 Panel
 1) AUTOSLAT NO. 1 DC
 2) AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC
 3) AIRPLANES WITH THE AUTOSLAT COMPUTER;

 (5)  S 865-052Push the MASTER CAUTION recall button on the glare shield. (a) Make sure the AUTOSLAT FAIL light on the P5-3 panel is off.
 (6)  S 865-053Remove the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
