Remove the flight control lock assemblies from the spoiler control shutoff valves.

Connect the electrical connectors to the spoiler control shutoff valves.

Set the FLT CONTROL SPOILER A and B switches on the forward overhead panel to the ON position.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

P6-2 Panel
 1) SHUTOFF VALVES - SPOILER

 (5)  Pressurize the hydraulic reservoirs if it is necessary
 (AMM 29-09-00/201).

 FLIGHT SPOILER CONTROL SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are three tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the operational test, the adjustment and the system test of the spoiler control system.
 B.  The spoiler control system gives lateral control and speed brake signals to the flight spoiler actuators through the spoiler mixer. The speed brake signals also control the ground spoilers.
 C.  You must not use the decals installed on the aileron control wheels during the adjustment or the test of the spoiler control system. The decals are for flight crew use only.
 D.  Before you do the adjustment or the test of the spoiler control system, the adjustment of these systems must be correct:
 (1)  
The aileron control system (Ref 27-11-00/501).

 (2)  
The trailing edge flaps (Ref 27-51-00/501).

 (3)  
The speed brake system (Ref 27-62-00/501).

 2.  Spoiler Control System Operational Test_______________________________________
 A.  General
 (1)  
You can use the operational test to quickly give the status of the spoiler control system. You can do this test without special tools or equipment.

Supply the systems A and B hydraulic power (Ref 27-61-00/201).

Turn the captain's aileron control wheel fully clockwise.

 (a)  
Make sure the No. 6 and 7 flight spoilers move to the up position.

Turn the captain's aileron control wheel fully counterclockwise.

Make sure the No. 2 and 3 flight spoilers move to the up position.
