CAUTION:_______LIFT THE AXLE AT THE JACK PAD ON THE AXLE ONLY. IF NOT, YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AXLE.

Install the jack below the jack pad on the right main gear axle (Ref 07-11-31/201).

Slowly lift the axle to compress the shock strut until the ground spoiler interlock valve opens.
(a)
Make sure the ground spoilers move to the fully extended position.
(b)
Make sure the inner cylinder of the shock strut moved
1.5 +1.5/-0.0 inches from the fully extended position.

Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position.
(a)
Make sure the ground spoilers retract.

Make sure that the main landing gear safety sensors are adjusted (AMM 32-09-01/501).

Lower the axle jack to fully extend the shock strut.

Remove the axle jack (Ref 07-11-31/201).

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
(1)
Remove the system A hydraulic power (Ref 27-62-00/201).

Remove the electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
(3)
Fill the right main gear shock strut (Ref 12-15-31/301).
(4)
Lower the airplane and remove the jacks (Ref 07-11-11/201).

GROUND SPOILER INTERLOCK VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the removal and a task for the installation of the ground spoiler interlock valve.

(1)
Make sure the hydraulic pressure in system A is released (Ref 27-62-00/201).

Remove the interlock valve (Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the two bolts that attach the interlock valve yoke to the pivot arm.
NOTE:____The valve yoke is part of the valve. Do not remove the valve yoke from the valve.
(b)
Remove the actuators from the landing gear safety sensors (Ref 32-09-01/401).
(c)
Remove the three hydraulic tubes from the valve: 1) Put a bucket below the valve to catch the hydraulic fluid. 2) Remove the hydraulic tubes from the valve. 3) Install the plugs in the hydraulic tubes.
(d)
Remove the three bolts that attach the valve.
(e)
Remove the reducers and the O-rings from the three valve ports.
