(f)
Clean all grease from the piston rod and the rod end threads with solvent.
(g)
Apply a layer of the corrosion preventive compound on the threads of the piston rod end.
(h)
Install the locking key in the actuator rod end.
(i)
Tighten the checknut to 290-410 pound-inches.
(j)
Install the lockwire on the checknut.
(k)
Apply a bead of sealant to the area around the checknut and lockwire.
(l)
Supply the systems A and B hydraulic power (Ref 27-62-00/201).
(m)
Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position to lower the spoilers if it is necessary.
(n)
Move the flap control lever to the UP position to lift the flaps if it is necessary.
(o)
Make sure the clearance between the spoiler and the flap is in the limits.

Do the functional test of the ground spoiler actuator.

Remove the systems A and B hydraulic power (Ref 27-62-00/201).

Move the FLT CONTROL SPOILER A and B switches to the ON position.

NOTE: You can use a hand held protractor on the spoiler.
