 (2)  
Move the speed brake lever from the DOWN position to the UP position.

 (a)  
Make sure the speed brakes move to the up position.


 S 715-008
 (3)  
Move the speed brake lever from the UP position to the DOWN position.

 (a)  
Make sure the speed brakes move to the retracted position.

 (4) Remove the systems A and B hydraulic power (AMM 27-62-00/201).

 3. Speed Brake Control System Adjustment

 A. General
 (1)  
Refer to Fig. 501 for the locations of the rig pins and the tension of the control cables.

 (2)  
Before you do the adjustment or the test of the speed brake control system, you must make sure these systems are serviceable:

 (a)  
The aileron control system (AMM 27-11-00/501).

 (b)  
The trailing edge flaps (AMM 27-51-00/501).

 (3)  
During the procedure, unless otherwise noted, the weight of the airplane must be on the landing gear. The ground spoiler interlock valve must be open which will permit the operation of the ground spoilers.
