Remove the quadrant (Fig. 402):
(a)
Remove the bolt that attaches the forward end of the actuator link to the actuator input arm.
(b)
Remove the pivot bolt from the quadrant.
(c)
Remove the quadrant from the structure.
(d)
Keep the upper bearing and the spacer in the quadrant with a bolt.
NOTE: The lower bearing is permanently installed in the

quadrant.

Examine the flight spoiler actuator quadrant for worn areas (AMM 27-61-51/601).

Install the quadrant (Fig. 402):
(a)
Remove the bolt from the upper bearing and the spacer.
(b)
Put the quadrant in its position on the structure.
(c)
Install the pivot bolt, washer and nut.
