 (1)
Supply the systems A and B hydraulic power (Ref 27-61-00/201).

 (2)  
Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position.

 (3)
Remove the systems A and B hydraulic power (Ref 27-61-00/201).

Install the rig pin A/S-3 in the lower crank for the aileron spring cartridge (Fig. 401).

 CAUTION: KEEP THE RIG PIN A/S-14 INSTALLED WHILE THE SPOILER MIXER IS
_______ REMOVED. THE SPOILER MIXER CAN BE DAMAGED IF YOU REMOVE THE RIG PIN.
 (6)  
Install the rig pin A/S-14 in the spoiler mixer.

Remove the spoiler mixer:

 (a)  
Disconnect the pushrod from the ground spoiler control valve.

 (b)  
Disconnect the aileron spring cartridge from the lower lever.

 (c)  
Move the aileron spring cartridge to get access to the bolts on the couplings.

 (d)  
Loosen the bolts on the four couplings.

 (e)  
Remove the nuts from the four mounting studs.

 (f)  
Remove the spoiler mixer from the airplane.
