 SPOILER CONTROL QUADRANT - REPAIRS

 1.  General_______
 A.  There is one task in this procedure, a repair of the spoiler control quadrant. The repair includes the replacement of the rivets that attach the aileron input crank to the spoiler control quadrant shaft.

Procedure

 S 028-002
 (1)
Remove the spoiler control quadrant shaft (AMM 27-61-41/401).

 S 358-003

 (2)  
Repair the quadrant shaft:

 CAUTION:_______DO NOT MAKE THE RIVET HOLES LARGER. YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE QUADRANT SHAFT AND THE AILERON INPUT CRANK.
 (a)  
Remove the broken parts of the rivets from the holes in the aileron input crank and the quadrant shaft.

 (b)  
Install the new rivets.

 (c)  
Examine the aluminum foil marker on the quadrant shaft. 1) Replace the marker if it is damaged or not there.

 (3)
Install the spoiler control quadrant shaft (AMM 27-61-41/401).
