7) Move the LIGHTS switch on the P2-1 panel to the BRT
position.
a) Make sure the intensity of the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light
goes back to the initial level.
(d) AIRPLANES WITHOUT SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES;
Move one of the thrust levers forward to retract the speed
brake lever actuator. Move the thrust lever back to the idle
position.
(e) Make sure the speed brake lever is in the ARMED position and
the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light is on.
(f) Do a test of the SPEED BRAKE ARMED and DO NOT ARM lights with
the antiskid control unit (Fig. 501):
1) On the antiskid control unit, turn the WHEEL SELECT knob to
the LO position and push the VALVE and SKID buttons.
a) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light comes on.
2) Release the VALVE and SKID buttons.
a) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light comes on.
b) Make sure the spoilers do not extend.
3) Do the test again with the WHEEL SELECT knob in the LI, RI,
and RO positions.
(g) With the speed brake lever in the ARMED position and the SPEED
BRAKE ARMED light on, turn the WHEEL SELECT knob to the LO
position.

(h) Push and hold the LW (lock wheel) and SKID buttons.
NOTE: The SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light will come on
____ momentarily if you do not push the buttons at the same time.
1) Make sure the speed brake lever moves to the UP position. 2) Make sure the flight spoilers No. 2, 3, 6, and 7 move to the full up position. 3) Make sure the ground spoilers No. 4 and 5 move to the full up position. 4) Make sure the ground spoiler No. 0, 1, 8 and 9 move to the full up position. 5) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light is on.
(i)
Release the LW and SKID buttons.
1) The SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light will come on.
(j)
Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position. 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light is off.
(k)
AIRPLANES WITH SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES; Push the SPEED BRAKE TEST switch 3 to retract the speed brake lever actuator.
(l)
AIRPLANES WITHOUT SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES; Move one of the thrust levers forward to retract the speed brake lever actuator. Move the thrust lever back to the idle position.

Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
(a)
P6 Panel
1) INDICATOR LIGHTS
2) FLIGHT CONTROL VALVES
3) SPOILER SHUTOFF VALVES
4) AUTO SPEED BRAKE
5) ALL ANTISKID

Move the No. 1 and 2 thrust levers to the idle position.
(a)
Move the speed brake control lever to the ARMED position. 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light comes on.

Do the functional test of the speed brake arming switch (Ref 27-62-34/401).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
